The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs is pleased to announce the formal launch of EducationUSA http://educationusa.state.gov/, a new web site devoted to the promotion of U.S. higher education. Its purpose is to provide information about studying in the United States to prospective students living in other nations, and to help them make the connections they need to be successful in their quest for further education. One of the key elements on the site is a link to every EducationUSA educational advising center around the world. At EducationUSA.state.gov, prospective students who need personal assistance but don’t know where to turn for help can quickly and easily find an adviser located in the country in which they reside. They will also find links to questions on admission and financial aid, links to U.S. colleges and universities and even a search engine to help find the institutions that can best meet their needs.
