Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), campus Guadalajara (Tec de Monterrey - Campus Guadalajara) was founded in 1977 and forms part of the ITESM System, a private, not for profit, multi-campus (31 campi in Mexico and 21 liaison offices in different countries) institution.  ITESM Guadalajara has a population of 7,440 students, 1,282 are studying abroad while 688 international students are attending classes in Guadalajara.

ITESM Guadalajara has a strong School of Business and Humanities Program, School of Engineering, Architecture and Health Programs.  Their Entrepreneurship and Innovation Division is part of ASHOKA U a program of the leading global network of social entrepreneurs.

ITESM Guadalajara is interested in opportunities for international mobility such as, exchange programs, internships, special custom made programs, summer programs, and study abroad.  They are also interested in global faculty programs, international academic leaders, research initiatives and sabbatical periods.

ITESO, The Jesuit University of Guadalajara

ITESO, The Jesuit University of Guadalajara is a leader university in western Mexico, acknowledged as a University of Academic Excellence, offers 32 undergraduate programs, and 26 graduate programs, including masters and doctorate programs. Strong areas include Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science and Nanotechnology, with important collaboration projects with the IT industry in the area.  Most of the graduate programs have the qualification of Academic Quality Programs granted by CONACYT.  ITESO is the private university in the region with the largest number of researchers in the Researchers National System.

ITESO is a private institution, whose mission is to educate in a high academic environment and also with a strong social commitment to society, all the students are involved in the Professional Application projects, which take place in low income communities, NGO, rural areas, and also with Counties as well as with enterprises.

Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara

Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) was founded in 1935 as the first private university in Mexico. The UAG is a comprehensive, coeducational, nondenominational and nonprofit organization. It is independent, autonomous, and it is not affiliated with or dependent on any government, church or political party.   UAG has a population of 15,560 undergraduate students and 2,251 graduate students.  Currently, 1,250 international students.

The UAG School of Medicine is regarded by many as one of the most efficient and well-organized medical schools in Latin America. With more than 1,200 international students, the UAG International Medicine Program is the largest of its kind in Mexico. More than 15,000 alumni from the United States, Puerto Rico and Latin America who have attended our school make a significant contribution to the development of their communities.

Universidad de Guadalajara

Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG) is a public institution, 2nd largest in Mexico, founded in 1791. Formed by 15 university centers (7 in Guadalajara’s Metropolitan area); 1 virtual system and a high school system (55 schools).  UdeG has 103,045 undergraduate students and 6,330 graduate students.  Currently, 1,465 are international students and 128 international faculty. 

The International Summer University is one of Universidad de Guadalajara’s strongest programs (among others).  This program offers Spanish language and subject courses enrich with cultural immersion activities. These language courses consist of giving learners the opportunity to learn, practice and reinforce their communicative and cross-cultural skills in Spanish language. 

UdeG’s STEM Program is another one of this university’s strongest areas.  Their program focuses on the consolidation of mobility, research and teaching in the strategic areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Universidad de Guadalajara is a member of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) and is very interested in strengthening and expanding their international collaboration. 

Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA)

Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA) is a private, catholic institution founded in 1962 in Guadalajara, where the main campus is located. UNIVA is also a network of 13 campuses distributed in 9 Mexican states. It is one of the largest Catholic Universities in the country.

UNIVA has the strong conviction that through partnerships with society, we develop competitive professionals, with a robust sense of social commitment. It is a University conscious of the challenges of Mexico as an emerging country, and the need to strengthen our global vision to solve local problems.

UNIVA currently has around 16,000 students, including bachelor, master degrees and PHD programs. We hold accreditation as an "Institution of Excellence" from the National Ministry of Education, and from FIMPES (The Mexican Council of Private Institutions of Higher Education).

Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara

Educate persons who seek the truth and commit to it, promoting a Christian humanism which contributes to building a better world. 

UP has 3,405 undergraduate students and 938 graduate students.  They recieve about 90 international students per year.  It is the only University in Mexico that offers a specialized major program in Family Businesses, with the possibility of a double degree.

UP has the latest technology including: Oculus Rift, Meta space Glasses, OmniVirtuix among others.  We offer the Specialization in Visual Effects.
